MIND THE GOAT

This is an artwork based on a frightful story that took place on a small island in southern Senegal, but the underlying problems that triggered this chain of events are relevant everywhere. GOAT is forcing the audience to question fundamental structures of accountability and responsibility, and what we value in our society. A culture of silence is needed to abandon basic human rights and GOAT is created in order to break this silence. Turning the black vault inside out, instead of hiding the stories in order to be able to accept the human, we hide the
human to be able to understand stories of inhumanity.
